Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
My son played inside a playpen, while I was working 12-hour shifts in sanding floors and removing wallpaper. Ha! The whole thing started to be clear, but was still far from being finished. For furnishing the space would be an enormous undertaking with regards to budget and time. Also, I had to go out and shop for my most-loved items. To keep within my budget I took my kids along to search for treasures in estate sales. Every week, we spent between Thursday and Saturday in garage sales and estate sales buying brand new furniture. Then I repainted and smoothed in the driveway throughout the week. My first impression was like... that's when my passion to restore furniture began. Although our house was fully equipped, I couldn't stop. I had a space at the local market and also sold items there. Then I bought more that I had no idea how to use them and outgrew the space. Then I began hosting open houses in my home which saw over 1 000 guests came through on a single weekend and could purchase anything they wanted on the first floor. Growing Days was created in this house. The business wasn't just flourishing, but I was also growing my sweet family too. I was balancing the demands of what it was like to start a new business and be a mommy too. Growing Days just fit. It was in 2013 when my beautiful daughter Nora came along our 4th child. My business was going well however I needed a break. I made the decision to take some breaks from my old furniture and stay at home with the children. It was what I wanted. It wasn't until a couple of months when the phones began to call. They were asking for assistance with interior decorating and home renovations. They had mainly visited my house at the open houses that were held for furniture. I began taking on clients at a time working at my own pace however it wasn't for long to have numerous accounts and had an entire home improvement business. It would have probably amused me if I had told you that it would be the foundation of an DIY Network tv series. In fact, I laugh slightly when I recall it.
